Robohumaton and Robohuman – An Ideosemada of Disambiguation

A robohumaton is a generic term for robotic creations that emulate human physical characteristics.   Robohumaton was created as a polyonom in the summer of 2023.  Ref. https://polyonom.com/robohumaton

The prototype robohumaton was developed at the Global Research Institute of Technology and Innovation (GRITI) as part of a project led by Amelianaka Reed.  

Through her efforts it became a useful tool to aid her in research.  She  gave it a name “pinnacliki”.   It features in “Le Rayon Citron” by Volker Bourne.  Ref : https://le-rayon-citron.eziine.com/pinnacliki/  

The “robohumaton” is sometimes confused with “robohuman” – a hypothetical being that is part robot and part human.  For the sake of disambiguity a robohuman is an entity created by combining biological and technological components.  A robohumaton comprises entirely technological parts.

The pinnacliki prototype was developed and made public with the name “Huxley”.  This is a reference to the English writer and philosopher Aldous Huxley.  Ref. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aldous_Huxley  

Huxley #1 was trained in a range of dance styles by Faculty members at GRITI.  

This is widely held to be the origins of a range of dances – collectively known as “Huxley”, with each dance being denoted with a numerical suffix.
