“A Frisson of Mankomistro” can be interpreted as a commentary on the evolution of artificial intelligence (AI) as it stood in early 2024.

At that time there was much speculation as to whether Artificial General Intelligence had been achieved.

It called into question as to whether that to which one was exposed was credible or incredible.

It challenged the concept of trust – and encouraged a sceptical approach which assumed one should start from a basis of mistrust

Although originally created as a commentary on western politicians – mankomistro – is a polyonom meaning “lack-of-mistrust”.  This transitioned across to the words, images and sounds on the web.

“A Frisson of Mankomistro” – or the thrill of creating something with the aid of AI (or was created by AGI?) – similar to surrealist creations of the 20th century – which may be “real” or an artifice of AI.

To denote the piece was created using AI – it is marked with “omraldia” icon.  Omraldia being another polyonom – created from an acronym from:-

origine marquée réalisée avec l’aide de l’intelligence artificielle”.

The omraldia was created as a a plausible marque based on the faritamitai.
